Your role and responsibility may have been adjusted by your dealer principal, or your dealer access may have been revoked by your distributor. The getting started overlay serves as a "getting started guide" The overlay will assist you in understanding how to navigate on the Channel One Portal Landing Page. You have the opportunity to hide the overlay by selecting the "Don't show this again" checkbox. Once this checkbox has been selected the overlay will be hidden, but accesible through the Site Help Tab - Getting Started

The Portal contains a comprehensive training suite with video demonstrations as well as guided "try it" tours. How do I use the Residential Generator Sizing Tool?
There are a number of options available for users to conduct residential genset sizing using the Channel One Portal. Navigate to the gensize tool: - Select the sales tab located on the red toolbar near the top of the screen - Select the Gensizing tool subtab - Determine if you would like to conduct sizing for a lead that exists in the portal (sizing report will be saved on the lead record or whether you would like to complete a quick reccomendation. If you select "Launch" to utiilze the quick reccomendation option the sizing tool will launch automatically. Please enter all of the pertinent sizing details in the tool. After you finish sizing you will have the opportunity to email a copy of the sizing report to yourself or the lead. * Note: You can also activate the quick reccomendation sizing option by clicking on the hyperlink above the installed genset in the sizing section of the landing page. If you determine you would like to conduct sizing for an exisitng lead select the "Go To My Leads" button. You will then be taken into your lead list. Select a lead and select the Size and Quote button. then select the "size a generator" button. Your leads information will autopopulate the sizing tool. Please enter all of the pertinent sizing details in the tool. You will then have the option to save and attach to a quote - this will save the sizing report on the lead account. The alternative is to email a PDF of the sizing report to your lead or to yourself.
How does the Sizing Tool recommend products?
The sizing tool recommends products based on the power profile that your custoemrs provide to you. The Residential sizing tool is a sales and marketing tool, not an engineering tool. As such it simply aggregates all power needs submitted to determine the appropirate reccomendation. The tool assumes all appliances will be running at once and calculates max load. As it is unlikely that all applicances will be running at once the dealer will use his or her expertise to reccomend the best genset based on the sizing report.
How do I size a product for commercial applications?
To size a commercial genset please utilize the Powersuite sizing tool. You can navigate to the Powersuite sizing tool by clicking on the sales tab located in the red header at the top of the page. Next select the Powersuite Gensize subtab. You will then gain access to Powersuite to conduct your commercial genset sizing. * Note: You can also access Powersuite by clicking on the hyperlink below the installed genset in the sizing section of the landing page (Go to Powersuite Gensize)

To access and customize marketing materials in the Channel One Portal, first click on the Marketing tab located on the red toolbar at the top of the portal. Next select the marketing materials subtab from the drop down menu You can then further filter the results by selecting the specific class of marketing materials you are looking for on the left hand side of the screen. You can then utiilze the PDF link to open a PDF. If you wish to order, or customize and order marketing materials from our print vendor (Western Graphics) select the applicable link.

How do I user Brandmuscle?
Brandmuscle is our third party coop vendor. They will review, approve and pay coop claims to eligible dealers. To access Brandmuscle - First click on the Marketing tab located on the red toolbar at the top of the portal. - Next select the CO-OP budget subtab from the drop down menu - From the CO-OP page - select the link "manage co-op budgets in Brandmuscle) - You are now logged into Brandmucle - for directions and training on how to manage your coop, file and track claims etc. select the Resources and Help tab at he top of the screen - Select the training subtab from the dropdown menu
How do I read the COOP Report?
To view your coop report in the Channel One Portal - First click on the Marketing tab located on the red toolbar at the top of the portal. - Next select the CO-OP budget subtab from the drop down menu - On the CO-OP page you will see a number of fields: starting budget, spent, pending and remaining. The starting budget field captures the total amount of COOP that you earned from CPG and that you have access to spend. The spent field captures the amount of approved coop claims that have been paid to your dealership. The Pending field represents the amount of claims that have been filed but not yet approved. Finally the Remaining field indicates the amount of coop that your dealership has available for new coop marketing efforts.
